A video of my small solar project at home. It works well and im pleased with it. I am prepared for a hurricane, when power goes, i will have lights. It also runs my desk lamp, radio and modem full time. I also charge my cell phone and dig. camera battery. Although i got some of the components used, everything is available at pricesmart.

Homemade wind turbine with a permanent magnet motor. This can put out up to 200W (1200W is not). This project consists of 3 parts: mechanical - At this point, only this part is so mobile mini-mast, hub and blades. Electronics - The next step is to build a microcontroller-based charge controller for my group of batteries. I am planning a LM3S811 evaluation board that I already use. Electric - The final step is to tie it all together a draft of some power from the bank. Will be posting moreVideos and comments about the project as well as progress.
